This powerful tool separates tie rods. Insert 21/32" opening between parts and strike with hammer to separate. This tool is forged to withstand hard usage. Overall length: 12". WE CANNOT SHIP THIS ITEM TO APO ADDRESSES. The Tie Rod connects the steering rack to the steering knuckle. It's job is to transfer the movement of the Steering Rack to the wheels, allowing the car to turn. Over time these Tie Rods become worn, hindering it's ability to transfer the movement from the Rack within factory specs. Ultimately this will cause uneven wear of the tires, vibration of the front tires and poor handling characteristics. |
